Averr Aglow
We've all been there. I know I have.
I'm constantly Googling new cosmetic brands. I mean, I love skincare and I love presenting myself in a nice manner! Who doesn't?
I am surrounded in the Mecca of everything. I have access to fashion, beauty, food, pretty much anything you can think of, it is here in New York City. I am blessed to be able to be a part of the vibrancy this city offers.
My husband own his own business; he is a Personal Trainer and Online Health Coach. Having him in my life and learning through him and what is best for our bodies, has been amazing. Through him I have learned to live a healthy life and most importantly, a balanced life. I have learned what my body needs and how I can keep it healthy and strong.
More so, I have learned that what on outside of your body (i.e. face) is just as important as what you put inside of your body! I am not here to preach about essential oils or certain fads, but you are reading this because you want to know...what nutrients does my skin really need?
To be honest, I've had so much time on my hands because of the quarantine and therefore, I have been using my resources and doing what I love most, which is everything beauty. Today, I want to talk to you about an Instagram ad that came through my feed, and it was the best ad I could have ever come across! It's a skincare line called Averr Aglow.
The price of this kit retails $150 and while I was skeptical at first, I didn't want to spend a considerable amount (especially during these times) on a product that wouldn't work or provide minimal results. So, I ordered just the Clear Skin Elixir.
I recently came off birth control so my hormones have been all over the place. While I've never had perfect skin, it was never awful. There were times (years and years ago) I wouldn't leave the house without makeup, but now, I embrace the skin I am in. By no means is my skin terrible. I do not struggle with cystic acne, or heavy acne in general. Lately, my skin has been breaking out (minor) and I was getting sick of using countless beauty products that just didn't meet my expectations at all.
The first night I used the Elixir, which is a pink Himalayan clay, my skin radiated. Breakouts that were on the sides of my face, were significantly decreased and not nearly as inflamed as before. In fact, and I promise I'm not paid to say this, the breakouts looked like they were healing. You see, the great thing about this line, after hours and days of research, is that it is made with pure, natural ingredients, vitamins and minerals. Every single product is extremely nutrient dense.
So, you can guess what I did next. I ordered another item from there line and said if this one works as well, I am one hundred percent buying the full clear skin set from the brand. The next item I bought from this set is called the Luminous Toner. Everything about this product, including the packaging from when I received it, was LUMINOUS. Now you are asking, but what about this product is it unlike others? And, I will tell you because every part of this product is unlike a product you would have ever tried.
So, the Luminous Toner. This toner is unlike any others. It does not burn your skin when you apply it. It does not leave your skin feeling stripped of everything and sooo dry. This toner was a game changer. It has helped my skin feel soft and look dewey. It has decreased the darkness of my dark circles, while evening out my skin tone. This product has 100X the amount of what you would find in regular Vitamin C, so because of this, it actually helps with any pigmentation concerns, redness, and acne scars. My face loves this.
The cleansing wash is not your typical wash. It is a nectar with the best calming, cleansing and exfoliating properties. So, ditch the water and messiness that you were used to when doing your regular cleansing routine.
Before you do anything, you spritz your face with the #1 in the system, the dew. Once your face feels wet (this is like your water) you then take an exfoliating pad with 4 circles of the cleansing nectar (#2) and firmly buff your face. Once this is done, I follow up with the Luminous Toner (as described above) and follow up with the moisturizer (a little goes a long way with this.) Now, that is my morning routine. The only thing different with the night time routine is I do not use the toner or moisturizer. The last step of the night routine is the Clear Skin Elixir which is a total game changer. This pulls out all the gunk that's in your skin and helps in the skin cell renewal process. My skin is literally healing and I know this because when I wake up in the morning, the pimples I do have look drastically different.
Ladies, I hope this skin care line works just as well as it did for me, for you. It takes time and not everyone is the same. My skin is dry and acne prone, so this works great for me. However, I will still keep you updated and let you know how everything progresses.
Alright...now go pamper yourselves dolls! xoxo
